Kona comes from one of the most standard sires to grace this earth in recent years. Ch. Beebeemi Claudius ("Stanz") was a proper Stafford through and through. He had all the goods....Balance, Type, and Character. It is our hope that Kona will help carry on the legacy of this great dog. She shares many characteristics with Stanz. Among them is her "Waggle Dance." When she wags her tail she shakes her entire ass just like daddy.
Her momma is Ch. Carnig Dot Co UK. I discovered "Doris" at the 2002 Birmingham City Show when the venerable Mr. Fred Ward awarded her an RCC. It was something special to be introduced to the classiest bitch in the UK, by the most consummate of Englishmen. Thank you, Fred. Your spirit will always live on in the proper Englishman's dog.
Nigel Hunt and Carrie Brown bred this fantastic little girl. I would like to thank them both for trusting Kona to our care. I know it wasn't easy seeing this little baby off on such a great adventure, but know that she is happy and well cared for and that her true adventure has just begun. Stay tuned. She will make you proud!
On Kona's debut outing she picked up two points from the puppy class over the adults. More to come in 2005.
